ICKPA is a Nordic-style coffee roaster in Berlin with a specialty coffee bar on Schönleinstraße in Kreuzberg. The name comes from iskra, a word used across many Slavic languages for spark, and the roastery focuses on freshly harvested seasonal coffees, including single origins such as Bolivia El Mirador, along with drip bags and a subscription box.
At the bar, the house coffees go into espresso, V60 filter, batch brew and cold brew, with decaf and alternative milks available. Wifi and a laptop-friendly setup make it a workable stop for a few hours, dogs are welcome and there is seating outside.
