About Nichiyoubi no Hirusagari

Nichiyobi no Hirusagari (日曜日の昼さがり) is a specialty coffee shop in Beppu, opened in April 2024 by roaster Taijiro Choji.

Choji began with hand roasting and now roasts his own beans on a direct-fire roaster, serving them only as hand-drip pour-over. The shop has a terrace, and its furniture was made by woodworkers from nearby Yabakei. The name means Sunday afternoon, his favorite time of the week. It opens Thursday to Sunday.
