About The Underdog Kypseli
The Underdog Kypseli is a specialty coffee espresso bar on Fokionos Negri in Kypseli, Athens, and the first partner location of The Underdog roastery. It follows the brand's satellite model, a compact neighbourhood espresso bar format built for daily regulars.
The coffee comes from The Underdog Roasters, which has been roasting in Athens since 2015 and was co-founded by Tasos Delichristos, the 2008 World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion. The bar serves espresso, filter coffee, cold brew and decaf, with plant-based milks. It opens every day from eight to eight, with outdoor seating on the long pedestrian promenade of Fokionos Negri, Wi-Fi and a welcome for kids and dogs.
