The best coffee in Athens

1 cafés mapped

Specialty coffee in Athens, Georgia includes Choco Coffee Roasters, an Ecuador-only roaster that grew out of Condor Chocolates.

Brothers Nick and Peter Dale started Condor Chocolates in 2014 and added coffee to showcase more products from their mother's home country, so every blend and single origin they roast is Ecuadorian. The roastery sits at 700 Baxter Street, and in late 2022 they opened Choco Pronto at its front, a small Italian-style standing espresso bar built for quick service.

The listed scene is small, but a single-origin-country roaster with its own espresso counter is an unusual thing to find in a college town.
